Honor Cord Descriptions
Eta Sigma Alpha — white shawl with ESA seal
This is the National Honor Society for homeschooled students. Students must have a composite score of 26 on the ACT or accepted equivalent test.
CHENM Honor Society — double red cord
This is our local honor society for homeschooled students. Students must have a composite score of 23 on the ACT or accepted equivalent test.
Honor Cord — single gold cord
This cord is given for an overall 3.5 GPA.
National Honor Society of High School Scholars — an honor medal
This metal is given to recognize the highest achieving student scholars.
Phi Theta Kappa — double blue and gold cord
This is the International Honor Society for two-year college students. Students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of associate-level coursework with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
Sigma Kappa Delta — double green and gold cord
This is the National English Honor Society for two-year colleges recognizing excellence in English language and literature. Students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of coursework with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher in general scholarship as well as a grade of "B" or better in English classes.
SPOT Cord — single braided light blue & navy cord
This is a community service organization for students. Seniors receiving this cord serve weekly through this organization.
TeenPact — single braided grey cord with attached pin
An organization designed to help students understand the political process, value their liberty, and engage the culture.
Junior Civitan — single braided blue & gold cord
This is a community service organization for students. Seniors receiving this cord serve weekly through this organization.
Eagle Scout Cord — double red, white, and blue cord
This cord is given to a high school senior who has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
4-H Cord — single green & white cord
This cord is given to a high school senior who has participated in 4-H.
Arts Cord — single pink cord
This cord is given for students who have participated in fine arts: ballet & band.
Fine Arts Cord — multi-colored cord
This cord is given to high school seniors who have participated in the fine arts during their senior year.
Drama Cord — single orange cord
This cord is given to a high school senior who has participated on a drama team.
Alpha Archery — gold and black cord
This cord is given to seniors who participated in Alpha Archery during their senior year.
Tupelo Spartans — single green & navy cord
This cord is given to high school seniors who participated in Cross country and track during their senior year.
Titans Sports — red, black, & white cord
This cord is given to high school seniors who participated in Titan sponsored sports during their senior year.
Martial Arts Black Belt Cord — single braided black & white cord
This cord is given to high school seniors who have earned the black belt in martial arts.
