CHENM Events
CHENM hosts four major events a year. Each of these opportunities is initiated and carried out by volunteers of the CHENM community.
ICe Cream social - Monday August 11th 2025 6-8pm
This is our official kick-off to begin the new school year. It provides an exciting time of fellowship and fun for our CHENM community, as well as those interested in joining our homeschool community. And, of course, there’s ice cream!
We will have tables set up for a variety of activities such as graduation, the father-daughter banquet, the mother-son banquet, sports, educational opportunities, and more. In addition, we will have limited space available for local community exhibitors, in essence those who have a product or service that would be beneficial for homeschoolers. Also, if you have old curriculum and materials that you are finished with, donate it to our “free stuff” table in order to bless others. Anyone is welcome to contribute or benefit from the “Free” table.
To all CHENM homeschool friends and businesses:
If you have a business, product, or service that benefits homeschoolers and you would like to promote it to the homeschool community, our Ice Cream Social is the best opportunity to do that. Outside of graduation, this is our largest CHENM gathering of the year. Since tables are set up in an exhibition fair style, it’s a great opportunity to visit and discuss your services in an informal setting. Please bring your own table if you have one, as the church has limited ones available.

Join us for our Annual CHENM Father/Daughter Banquet. Theme details will be announced in the weeks ahead. A wonderful time of fellowship, where the fathers can spend a little quality time with that special daughter(s) in his life. It is a chance for us to dress up, come together and have a good meal, all served by CHENM volunteers
(Moms and some big brothers!).
$8 Per Person | Cut off for ticket purchase is February 9th.

2025 High School Graduating Class
CHENM GRADUATION
Each year CHENM hosts a ceremony for graduating kindergarteners, 8th graders, and high school seniors. The graduation ceremony will take place on the last Friday of April. There is no charge to participate in graduation for CHENM families that have been members for at least four years. For newer members, additional fees will be required. We invite everyone to attend.
